Cabana's Wonderful Weekend

Cabana got to hang out for a couple hours, getting admired and petted by lots of people. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

The trainer commented on how settled and well-behaved Cabana seemed now. In the past, we ALWAYS seemed to cross paths when Cabana was lunging and carrying on like a wild lunatic--QUITE embarrassing. I told him that she might seem much better today due to the fact that we'd been walking for 2.5 hours! Still, Cabana was well-behaved enough that we let Cabana and Dillon romp around off-leash for a while. It made me realize that Cabana HAS come a long way. Even a few months ago, I wouldn't have been able to do that, fearing that she wouldn't come back to me--and might embarrass me further. But she had a great time with Dillon, who is huge but as gentle as a kitten.

What great pictures! It gives me hope that Jack will soon learn how to behave! :)

sure looks to me like it was an awesome weekend. 2.5 hours is quite the walk!

Oh my goodness - it's been waaaay too long since we visited! What a fun weekend! Years and years ago, we went to that cool Bodega Bay festival - must have been so much fun! Thanks for reminding us! On our longer hikes, Sam ALways calms down a lot (not that she's too hyper, but she can pull...)after an hour or so. Also, Cabana is getting mo' mature, as they say, and ready to settle - that is so cool! You must be thrilled! Yay! Let's go hiking!

Looks like Cabana had another fun filled weekend. What a beautiful Bernise Mountain Dog in one of your phots. I just love those dogs:)

Awww, Trent's little forehead is so cute. I raised a Trent puppy. She was a sweet, sweet girl. I really enjoy reading about what you and Cabana are up to.
