Does She or Doesn't She?
This video of Cabana cracks me up. Every Sunday morning, my husband's tradition is to make pancakes for breakfast. He makes them in a pan that creates a waffle texture. One morning, we let Cabana try one.
Cabana was laying on her bed in the living room, and we brought a pancake over to her. She seemed surprised, since we don't normally give her breakfast in bed!
In the video, she kind of noshes the pancake around in her mouth for a long time before finally swallowing it. She acts like it's a tough piece of meat that needs tenderizing, rather than a very soft pancake. If you watch the time counter on the video, Cabana picks up the pancake at :01 seconds and actually swallows it at :24 seconds--that's a lot of chewing.
At the end, her jowl gets stuck in her mouth for a couple of seconds, which makes her have the funniest expression on her face.
It's hard to know if she liked the pancake or not! Can you tell if she did???
I think she loved it. She was savoring the flavor :)
Oh Cabana you are SO cute and have such a great life. She seems to be wondering ... where's the beef? As a lab though, anything in the mouth is good?
I think as long as it can be eaten and it doesn't bite back, they like it! :)
I thinks she loved the pancake! Did it have bananas in it? That is my favorite.

She's so funny! It was like she was eating peanut butter not a pancake. :) I think she liked it though. I mean, who doesn't like pancakes?

Waffle gets that look on her face when she tries new foods, kind of a startled 'well if you insist - I am a lab after all'
That is an unusual amount of chewing for a hungry labradog. Guess you just wanted to savor all the nommy goodness.
