Whatever the Weather

We've had all sorts of weather lately, some usual, some unusual for our area.

It was warm and sunny for the past few weeks, making all the bulbs and trees sprout. The spring-like weather made mustard season come early this year. There has been some growing in the big field where we walk, but this is nothing compared to how much will be there a few weeks from now.

Of course, we have had lots of our usual morning fog.

And we've had TONS of rain. Here is a not-so-good picture of a faint rainbow.

Cabana enjoys the little puddles that the rain leaves behind. Little splashes are fun.

But BIG puddles and BIG splashes are even more fun.

Let's run around and go through again!

A few days ago, we had a short hail storm. Here are the quickly melting ice pebbles in my backyard.

Then yesterday morning, we even got a smattering of snow on the hills! Whatever the weather, there's something to enjoy.

Oh my, what beautiful hills in behind your home. Of course, it doesn't compare to Cabana!

Those are great pictures! I think that Cabana looks like the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. :)

Bella hates the water and would probably never jump into a puddle like that! I think she's missing out on the fun by the looks of Cabana's face.

Cabana seems so happy enjoying whatever the weather is! Snow, wow!

Oh don't let Dexter see those big puddles. He heads for the swimming pool after every walkie even though it is closed. You labradogs don't seem bothered by any weather at all, but that green grass looks fantastic to me.

BTW - sorry I've not left comments on your blog in a while; for some "odd" reason... blogger hasn't been letting me comment on your blog. I've been reading all your posts - and trying to leave comments... just not succeeding (until now).

Terrific pictures (and your weather seems to very like ours does).

Dear Cabana,

We think its so cool that your mom lets you run around off leash through the puddles. We are very jealous and want to do that ourselves. The week after Christmas, she did let us run through the mud and puddles, but we had to go straight to the dog wash after because Ace looked like a chocolate lab. But it was fun.

We wish we could join you.

Love,

Acie and Chelsie
