in our family room, cabana is sitting in front of the door to the garage with just enough room to clear the door, the door has just opened a crack and you can see a hand on the outside doorknob

Wow -- she waits patiently. Cricket runs to the door with her whole body moving she is wagging so fiercely waiting for Steve or Kendall to open the door.

That is so sweet! Don loves it when my brothers come home, and gets all excited and wiggly. He especially loves it when my brothers have sports practices. There is nothing better than licking sweating arms and legs in Don's mind! Silly Don.

To answer your question I was pronouncing Picassa's name like Pick-ah-sa. It's not much of a difference but she definitely responts better to the Spanish pronunciation so I think I'll stick to that. ;)

Spunk is definitely something she has an abundance of, it gives her character, I love it.

Ha ha! This is Cabana's excited version of a welcome home. A lot of days, she doesn't even get up from her bed--for any of us! For a high energy girl, she's pretty low key in her welcome. But we like it this way, and she must sense that.
