Can You Pick Out the Picardies?

a mass of about six dogs, including cabana, in a jumble of play, they are all looking toward the center, maybe a one of the dogs trying to grab a tennis ballAlthough Cabana continues to enjoy just about every dog she meets, she does have her favorites.

seven dogs running in the direction of the camera, the pack includes 3 blue picardies, a golden, a westie, a spaniel puppy, and cabanaDuring the morning hours, the soccer and baseball fields in our neighborhood are designated for off-leash dogs. We've fallen into a routine of going there this summer, because it's a nice 3-4 mile walk round trip and because the doggies there are SUCH a nice bunch.

large green field with two blue picardies running in the foreground, two running way in the back, with cabana running sort of in the middleAmong them are four Blue Picardy Spaniels, a breed that comes from France and (I think) has recently been recognized by the AKC. Three of these Blue Picardies belongs to the breeder who comes regularly to these fields, and the fourth is from one of the breeder's recent litters.

another shot of the four blue picardies, this time Cabana is running after themThese dogs match Cabana in temperament--they have sweet dispositions and love to run and chase. They give Cabana a great workout! Ha ha, you can tell in the photos that Cabana is tuckered her out while the Picardies are still going strong.

That looks like such fun!

4 miles? You're a better person than I am.

Puppies aren't allowed on the ball fields around here. :(

Beautiful dogs, though we don't know much about them. But if they are still going strong, sounds like potential owners need to be prepared to exercise them A LOT!

That looks like such a nice field! Don is jealous- he wishes he could join in the dog park fun :) Those are such pretty dogs. I'm glad to hear that Cabana found the perfect playmates!

wow. I wish we had a large dog run like that. But I guess for Philly, I should be glad we have any. I like the Picardies, very nice.
