Going for a Walk?

I love this! Accuweather now gives you a customized forecast for walking your dog, with ratings from 1 to 10, for today and the next four days. Just for fun, I plugged in the dog walking forecast for, say, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Myeh, Honolulu isn't SO much better for dog walking in the next few days than in my own neck of the woods (second photo). It's definitely warmer there, but just as wet. Click here to check out your own city and state. I'm curious, anybody get a 10 in their forecast?
According to the chart, today is only a 4 for us. But we'll be out there anyway. Rain schmain. As my mother would say, we won't melt--we're not made of sugar! (Actually, my mother has never said that, but I don't really know anyone who has....)
I have a tendency to say "You won't melt, you aren't made of marzipan." Hope you enjoyed your walk!

We've certainly been bad bloggie pals, but we're finally back from our little blogcation. Sooooooo glad to see what the weather's like in HI today hee hee! But happy to see Friday here is just as good as HI today - thanks for showing this great weather forecast fur doggehs!!!

Here is in Seattle we have 1 and 2's. Maybe that is why I never feel like going for a run or walk during the winter! :)
Now that's handy for us humans! I've noticed however that Alfie (Cabana too, perhaps?) cares little about the weather -- as far as he's concerned, it's ALL good dog-walking weather! ;)
Sadly, it's still too wintery here for a 10. We only get a 2 for today, because of the cold. Tomorrow is a 4 since it will be a little warmer, but the rest of the week are all 1s or 2s.
Here in the LA area, we have eights across the board except for this Friday when we have a 10! It's good thing I'm puppy sitting this week. No excuses now not to get out there and walk.
The best for Portland this week is 4. We have extensive discussions at the humane society on where to get good rain gear for walking dogs in the rain. If we didn't have rain gear we'd never go for a walk.
P.S. Best place for rain gear would be REI.

We got all 4's, but what do they know? Above freezing right now is a 10 as far as I'm concerned.
