New Fun Day Polo Shirts and Hats!

Wow, 5 posts in a week. Amazing how much more prolific I can be when I'm not going to the shelter every durn day.

NOTE: Colors and design below are just mocked up depictions. The actual items will vary, and the design will be embroidered. These graphics are just to give you an idea of the design.

Hey, hey, puppy raisers! Guide Dogs for the Blind Fun Day in San Rafael is just around the corner. It's early this year, July 23, but just in the nick of time, our puppy group will have some fun items for sale. My daughter's dog design will be embroidered on polo shirts and hats. And after much demand, this year we'll have items with BLACK LABS!!

We'll have khaki hats with black labs and navy hats with yellow labs. Both hats will have "Guide Dogs for the Blind" embroidered on the back.

And we'll have polo shirts in clover green (don't you love this color?!) with black lab and in navy with yellow lab. Best of all, we ordered both men's AND women's shirts. The women's shirts are cut with slightly shorter sleeves and are a bit tapered at the waist.

Come shop early in the day because sizes are extremely limited. Currently, we aren't planning to take orders or reorder. T-shirts from previous years are also available at a discounted price.

Lame Excuse, Brown Shirt, New Baby

Lame Excuse: My husband took my camera with him on a business trip. So I haven't had any photos to post. (It's a lame excuse because I still have my big camera. And my daughters both have cameras that I could have borrowed. I've been a slacker, but I've got some post ideas brewing.)

What Can Brown Do for You?

Brown may not be doing much for Cabana, at least not in the form of mud splatters. But I did laugh WITH her when she got herself bespeckled (surely, none of us ever laugh AT our dogs). She was having a good time with a chocolate lab, which made me grateful that I can at least tell where the mud is to clean her off. With a chocolate lab, I may not know until it's too late and he's rolled all over my beige carpet.

But I digress....Mud and chocolate labs aside, if brown is YOUR color, you're in luck! We will be releasing our fabulous Guide Dogs "Born to Lead" design in a tonal brown color scheme. As always, proceeds will go to help purchase harnesses for graduating dogs from our puppy group and their partners.
