Blending In

cabana,
summer,
walking path
Summertime is dry season here, so unless it's regularly irrigated, most areas turn golden yellow. The same color as a certain little dog. The dry grass leads to brush fires, so keeping open areas mowed is essential.
I do love that color, but then again I may be biased! :)
does she point?
Cabana,
You blends in really well :)

Can't see you Cabana :D. Excited to visit in September.
Haha... Willow blends in with our grass that turns yellow in the fall/winter, but I have a problem with her blending in with other things year-round.
I think we found out why Labs come in that color--the same reason lions do! How else would the wild Labradors of California survive summer without their camouflaging coat?
Definitely looks like her natural habitat!
That first one looks like she was pointing :) Cabana you blend in quite well.
First time here...I'm a huge dog fan. Actually, I just love animals!
Your photos are great!
Cabana, you have mastered the art of camouflage :) Great photos!
Wonderful blog!!

Humph. Does not look as tasty as green grass. Where is the labradog in the first two photos?
